Semi- Permanent Tattoo
Henna
-
Leave paste on skin - longer time means darker stain.
-
Stay warm - henna stains better when you are warm, use a space heater or heating pad if you get cold.
-
Flake off paste - keep your henna dry during this process. Use a natural oil like coconut or olive oil to scratch off paste.
-
Moisturize -the oil used to scratch off the paste will do this as you work off the paste.
-
Watch henna darken over the next 48 hours.
Jagua
-
Leave gel on skin - longer time means darker stain.
-
WASH GEL thoroughly with soap and water - be sure to get ALL gell off. YOU WILL SEE A FAINT OR VERY LITTLE DESIGN AFTER THIS STEP.
-
Moisturize with coconut or any other natural oils.
-
Watch jagua magic appear and darken over 48 hours.
Permanent Tattoo
Hand Poke Tattoo
-
Leave bandage on to protect tattoo from bacteria and environmental contaminants for 4-8 hours.
-
Gently cleanse with mild, antibacterial, fragrance-free soap and lukewarm water after bandage is removed. Do not scrub or use abrasive materials. Pat dry with clean paper towel.
-
Wet healing: apply thin layer of ointment as needed. Avoid using too much, as it can suffocate the tattoo and hinder healing process.
-
Dry healing: continue with routine sanitization, however hold applying creams or ointments.
-
Wear loose clothing that won't rub against the tattoo as friction can irritate the skin and hinder healing process.
-
Stay hydrated and eat well as good nutrition can aid your body in efficient healing.
